IDEALPRO's CHF/JPY spread just opened up to 6-9pips today!!! (used to be 2 pips before) It just gets worse and worse and, of course, IB is trying to keep this thread quiet. Other too wide spreads (right now): EUR/CHF 3-4pips EUR/JPY 4-5pips EUR/USD 3pips GBP/CHF 10-13pips...

same here :) stopped out from my short position yesterday @ 1.2756 and switched to long at the same level It feels like short covering though... i will be taking profits soon.

Well, this week is "next week" but there is no change in the spreads. EUR/USD is 2-3pips. Any chance we see better spreads in the near future in: GBP/CHF (currently 6pips) GBP/JPY (currently 9pips!!!) ??? Major currencies with 9pips spread... I rather trade my money at Thomas...

Typical. We may have another, or not, no one can know. But since it looks like a bottom, the best thing to do is to keep stops away from price action for the time being. Catastroph-stops only...

You don't short a bull market. The $500 mark is near, traders are looking at it and we most-probably gonna hit it sooner or later. You will get burned.... If you fancy getting short, wait first for a top pattern to build. Trends don't turn on a dime... usually. I am long on Gold and...

Everybody should trade on his/her own risk, of course. Not asking anyone to follow me. However, my system say that these trades have low risk/reward ratio, so I take them. I managed to get good entries (on average), I will probably manage to get out breakeven if things start looking...

My current EUR/USD stop is currently around that area. The way things are moving right now it seems that we may have one or more "clean-up" spikes so I would rather use stops far away.

I don't know. But it seems like we may have bottom around 1.2100, with comfirmation of a reversal at around 1.2195. USD/CHF will comfirm a reversal below 1.2700. So...
