    This is true for the CQGTrader platform. CQG integrated client gets Trade Routing capabilities for free. Really, no cost to anyone as long as you own the CQG charting package. Don't worry about FCM costs, this cost is not to the end users/traders.

    CQGTrader doesn't have the API, but CQG Integrated client does. CQG IC API gives you access to real time data from all exchanges you're enabled for, historical data, analytics (including trade systems and custom studies) and trading abilities. Price for API depends on your specific needs.

    Why don't you trade from CQG? If you use it for charting you already have the trading part and it is free. Do the math and realize it is cheaper to have this one product that covers data, analytics and trading. Not even talking about data reliability and speed of execution...

    In the 7x3 version of CQG integrated client there is a capability to automate order placement based on your alerts that you have programmed in CQG. Any type of conditions you already have can be used to trigger placement of orders.
