Borrow fees can even go way higher. Check out REV, borrow rates did skyrocket to almost 1000 (!) %. And with T+2 settlement you keep paying even after you did close the trade.

Honestly... Quit while ahead or only small red...this is not an edge, you are just selling insurance making some money on it and it's part of this strategy that you will occasionally hit bigger losses. Expected return (which is not high) is not worth the stress imo, especially given the fact...

It traded below 170 for some time in AH trading. Counterparty chose to not exercise.

Some of those illiquid stocks are only traded in market maker kind of exchanges (Makler in Germany) such as Frankfurt FWB and Stuttgart SWB. The bid/ask you see is only indicative and sometimes not up to date, they update the quote when a matching order is entered using ADR or similar prices...

Reminds me of the negative oil stuff 2 years ago... Shows how fragile those commodity future markets are, where a seemingly delta neutral position (eg. long physical short future) can bankrupt you due to erratic market behaviour.

Imo you are not a trader but a gambler. Trading some of the most efficient aka purely random markets with a lot of leverage has nothing to do with serious trading.
