Michael - you are missing all the best parts of ET!
Actually, I was following some of abhay's posts on a few other threads, and became aware he had a site from those posts. I don't think he blatantly promoted it, but it is obvious that is the intent of his posts here on ET.
Hell, I was...
As an unbiased observer, I wanted to offer my .02.
The two charts are different. If one is posted before and one after the fact, that is very disturbing.
If the afternoon selloff occurs, will you revert back to your original forecast and discard the revised one? See what I am saying...
abhay, does your forecasting address gaps? If today ends up as red as it appears now, I was curious if your model forecasted a gap up or down. Or, does it just forecast based on the open?
And, if you don't mind, what does tomorrow look like to you?
Excellent analysis Kernan.
inandlong, I predict there will be numerous posters who come on the thread and say it was obvious, and they would have traded it "that way".
Kudos to the people that posted their thoughts BEFORE you posted the rest of the chart!
Why would you buy in one account and sell in another, essentially being flat and having to pay commish on the trades? Why not just wait for the proper trade to trigger and go that direction. Use limit orders, etc if you cannot watch the market all day.

Nice to...
Well, looking at FRED at the beginning of the year it was at ~20. It dropped to ~15. Since I am not Al, it is hard for me to do the math. But, even with my third grade education that is more than 8% drawdown. In fact, my third grade education tells me that is 3X the 8% dd you mentioned as...
The Active Trader Magazine website has a "download articles" link - you should be able to download it from there (it will probably cost you a dollar or two).

Thanks for the head's up - bought this morning on a break of the first 15-minute bar; up over .50.
Can anyone recommend a good resource for low priced stocks - either a service or research in general. I like trading them - and trade on technicals, but don't want to blindly buy a stock that...
Don - I don't know you, and don't have anything against you. I know many people at ET like you, and many do not. I have been reading this thread with much confusion because I did not really understand what all of the "fuss" was about, and after reading your last post I felt compelled to respond...
