TRADERKING007 NQ nsadaq futures intraday calls all welcome post

No clue, I don't even worry about timing things like that, just trade signals as they come. This is pretty controlled and intentional selling. Doesn't bother me if we get a rally overnight, will still likely be plenty of intra-day trades to take both long and short.

There we go a little something, 11112.00 ish is about max I think though, if we even get that high.

Days like this often retest lows a lot and generally finish near the lows, they won't let go of it until closer to 4:00 or after likely, may see a move up than. 3:50 move didn't give much.

Yeah, overall a random walk, but within that there's definitely setups to be taken advantage of that generally play out in a fairly specific way once appropriate factors align. Also, people with a lot of money aren't randomly buying and selling on a whim, some days they already know they plan...

These Little Yellow Arrows Are Driving Me CRAZY!

That's the new indicator to trade this market... Every yellow arrow is a signal to get long. EDIT: Looks like it was pretty accurate too, judging by the chart and outcome.

Parabolic move is what we are witnessing..8-2020

As an individual traders there's way to still take advantage of it and apply reasonable risk management. But overall yes seems like others are just going to buy up, until we eventually having a larger drop and clear all the overbought levels. At that point the cycle will restart...

    It's the timeframe...gaddammit

I am using ATR(I use the general indicator, default setting period 14 that most platforms provide) as a general guideline to be able to measure when I get a signal of how much baseline movement can I expect on a consistent basis, that's it. It isn't all inclusive nor my only target on a...

Parabolic move is what we are witnessing..8-2020

Extreme overbought a lot of the times is actually a short term and medium term bullish signal, which generally speaking is a pretty decent trade to take (to the long side). There's only decent probabilities using overbought / means reversion for shorting if you have a corresponding sell...

Any clients of TradeStation securities here?

Nope, no one I know has negotiated better fees. Although most of the traders I know have account sub 200k. Only one has accounts in the millions that would likely due enough volume to possibly get that. So, again apologize I can't give a more decisive answer, but personally I haven't seen...

Any clients of TradeStation securities here?

Personally I for sure have not. I know 3-4 other users who also have not for sure. The other 12-15 people that I know that use it, I do not know well enough if they have had any issues, but they have never mentioned. Overall though I would not rely on what I am saying regarding this...

Any clients of TradeStation securities here?

I've used TS for both equities and futures. Had very few issues over the years personally. It's rare the platform is down and I can't place orders, even in extreme market volatility. I've had no issues with hidden fees and anytime there was a fee charged, if there was an error or it...

Ok, I will accept this draft. Have a good night and thank you for the constructive criticism to my post.

    It's the timeframe...gaddammit

That is fine. Every strategy I have works the same on every time frame I trade, the only adjustment is the ATR. That's my personal experience and I haven't seen an example to the contrary. I don't understand why you can't just give me an actual example. You're making an absolute statement...

    It's the timeframe...gaddammit

I apologize if I have poorly chosen my word selection. But, I never claimed to have traded for decades. Do not think you are intentionally misusing my words or maybe you misunderstood, let's even say I was unclear but I never stated that. I was speaking of back testing data as well as forward...

    It's the timeframe...gaddammit

Maybe a moot point, so if so I'll let it go, but I just want to clarify I don't believe it, I know it to be a fact. Via 40 years of price action, along with multiple years of forward / live testing as well.

    It's the timeframe...gaddammit

Fair enough, but I don't really care what anyone else says. Not because I want to be ignorant or want to be a jerk it's because I've verified what I am saying myself and seen the evidence. So even if my theory is wrong and the markets aren't fractal, the end result is my signals work on every...

    It's the timeframe...gaddammit

This isn't even a debate. The markets are fractal. Just because you change the time frame, doesn't change how the markets are moving. You're just changing how YOU view that information. You certainly could do better on a different time frame or type of chart, but that would be because...
