I was up 1,900 in first 2 hours, then by mid morning, I ended up with 537.50 trading a total of 1660 ES contracts. I wasn't able to stay for the whole trading session. I wish I did since there were some nice moves in the afternoon.

What's your simple rule of thumb for position sizing in regarding to trading e-mini contracts? For example, 1 S&P e-mini contract for every $5,000 in buying power?

What about www.tickdata.com ? Have you looked at that? You can buy up to 10 years of 1-minute tick data on the 1400 largest stocks traded in the US. Note: 1-minute tick vs. tick-by-tick. They also have tick-by-tick data for Futures and Indexes. MGB
