Stocks, for the most part, are safer. But you have more leverage with FOREX than stocks. It is always open, so that is a plus also. Have not dove into it yet, but I am meaning to test those markets in 07.

Most people buy on margin. It is the best way to leverage your buying power. I think the stock market is going to crash is really over doing it. You cannot compare the US stock exchanges with India and other emerging markets. If it was the Dax or FTSE, that is a different story.

I see. In terms of scalping, don't you need a few thousand share position in a stock in order to make a decent profit? When I usually only purchase 300 - 500 shares at a time, scalping would not really work for me... Right?
