I get that. And I know that my methods would work on day trading. The real distinction is how much difference noise makes. For example, if you are day trading over...say...1/2 hour...and the stock's price increases by 1/4 percent most of that price increase might be from random...

No, I'm real. Interestingly, I think people are assuming I'm a day trader, but I'm really a swing trader and I make about 2% to 3% a week. Thats pretty good if you understand compounding. There might be better swing traders out there or way better day traders...don't know what the bench marks...

The issue that I perceive is that if I were to talk about it with friends, some would want to know EXACTLY what I'm doing. And if I told them, and they told others...you get my drift. So I don't want to broach the topic with them because they will continually fish for details and then...

The distinction is that I can't talk about what i'm doing and its killing me. I have plenty of friends, but I just can't discuss what I'm most interested in with them. In that aspect, I'm lonely. No guilt over the success (yet) either. :)

If you're hoarding silver, then hoard silver. But while you're doing that, you can *also* collect coins. Buy good quality stuff. I used to characterize it as buying "the stuff you never see", but rarity has been re-defined by E-bay. The other thing about coins is that the margins on them...

I'm there with you. Shorting was a mistake. I held over the weekend, which compounded a bad move. But from what I can figure out, EDZ and TZA will gap lower, but I think they'll cover about 2/3 of that gap within a couple hours to mitigate loss. So I'm going to wait. Both are about as low...
