"CNBC Investing Club" with Cramer - Anyone subscribe to it?

There are videos that will precede him forever. He is obviously following an agenda. Not a surprise in this trading "business" https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bear_Stearns

The Most Robust Intermarket System - Copper

A candid soul, trading forums are the most toxic environments you can be part of. Have a look at the politics section, there's proper rage there.

The complexion of the market has changed.

A couple of years old, but still relevant. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/investing/investment-ideas/article-why-markets-have-disconnected-from-the-economy-clean-energy-stocks/ You can't trade news anymore, there's too much concentrated capital in a few hands. They unload slowly to not...

Biden administration restricts American investments in high-tech sectors in China

A step further into a dictatorship, so much for a free market.

    Introvert? or Extrovert?

They could get some of their revenue to set up a proper place, that website is from the 80's. Still has good content. I have a script that kill all of those useless frames that they keep adding, after that is a fairly clean place. I don't know how the paid content is, I don't pay there.

Any elite traders ever been banned by CFD brokers for being consistently profitable?

I had an account with a spread betting / CFD broker in the UK about 10 years ago, and in one of their forums a user pointed out the way they work. They follow these book models: https://match-prime.com/a-book-vs-b-book-broker-the-key-differences-between-the-two-forex-models-2/ Essentially they...

    Introvert? or Extrovert?

I found pretty good comments there, but what throws me away is the website style. It is horrible. The mobile version is unusable. It really hurts to read there.

    ask and bid question

Look at order books. https://www.investopedia.com/terms/o/order-book.asp In essence yes, if one side is being taken that means there is a demand for that side so the asset should go in that direction.

    Game Theory for trading

The part that is closely related to trading is the Risk Management bit. https://arxiv.org/pdf/1711.00708.pdf Game theory will work on optimizing a bet based on the bank roll and that can be translated to trading easily.

    Introvert? or Extrovert?

If you come to this forum seeking validation you are in for a treat. These wankers will rip you apart from head to toe, I have not seen much concentrated anger in ages. We are ready for a fight around here. :D I sometimes post on futures.io and man, that place is nice, people are so polite...

    Tether and Bitfinex Lawsuit Dismissed

These news should be good for crypto acolytes, and the price of Bitcoin did not reflect it. The battle with Tether has been an on-going thing for ages and this was a kick in the butt for the SEC. What is going on? Did Bitcoin boys get tired of holding their bags? Tether was the pump for the...

    Introvert? or Extrovert?

Majority of introverts. I guess we found peace being by ourselves. Someone said before that trading is a lonely profession, and looking at how miserable the "Hook up" section of the forum is, that might be true. Do introverts enjoy posting on forums? Can someone with expertise in the subject...

How would you challenge this algo?

Let's post something useful in between all of this garbage. This is the response from ChatGPT for a Geometric Brownian Motion simulator in Python. It is pretty neat. import numpy as np import matplotlib.pyplot as plt # Parameters mu = 0.1 # Drift (average return) sigma = 0.2 #...

How would you challenge this algo?

I did answer that already, 10 posts ago. I am just replying out of politeness but I am not going to repeat myself. Read the whole thread slowly and you will see why I use a small data set. It is not a big deal anyway.

How would you challenge this algo?

I did tell you already that you should go ahead with your 20 years of data, that no one is stopping you, I don't see the point of continuing the argument. You are so sure that the more data you use the better is the algo, ok, so go ahead and use it. I don't see why you want to argue about it.
