Adaptive systems are useful if they adjust to market conditions. Instead of something like: if c> 3 points above 10 day moving average then go long use if c> 2*atr +10 day moving average then go long the buy level will be dynamically adjusted with volatility.

The system was tested on TS 6 data (@ES.D) from 2/11/2001 to last Friday (no commission or fees deducted). Again, this is just a baseline to start with. The code was contributed to a discussion thread at Tradestation World...

Percentages themselves mean nothing ... Heck, I can easily predict the 5 day moving average tomorrow with 80% accuracy. I explored Neural Nets, Genetic Algorithms, and such for quite a while. I did get some good predictions of pricing bands ... probable highs and lows. Still not too useful...
