Thanks again for all this. How many of you who are trading options use optionvue? I can't see how one could find a good value deal or strategy without software (unless you stick to the same equity like omcate)

ertrader, brokers I use/have used: like tradestation and IB do have more stringent requirements for option trading than for equities.. has Lindq got a point that they are more difficult ?

Yes I see your point. But you can still do that one trade with 10 cars. Unless you are so good you can make 40plus pips a day with that trade I think the commission/spread is going to be a factor in your bottom line.

Well since I do 10-12 returns somedays (not for awhile I admit) I would assume there are a whole lot bigger players somewhere.

Really appreciating all the replies. It's what is so helpful about ET- different perspectives. Omcate, I know you trade QQQ; does that mean your strategies are basic enough so that you don't need optionvue or other software?
