I agree that the 2 point bounce for ES all day is annoying, but if you feel confident enough about it staying that way all day, why not trade those two points.

I agree. The down days suck. I have a few strategies that work on bouncing days, but when it is on direction all day long I cant trade. I made some money on the run up to war, because it was pretty much a sure thing that the market would be getting lower closer to war, but now it is unclear...

I usually can login after 1PM Sunday ET. But it makes no diffrence because futures markets dont open untill 6:30 PM ET on Sunday.

I dont see how one can trade a one directional market. After all if it keeps kreeping up like yesterday, how do you know when it will stop and turn flat/down, therefore how can you buy long? Vice versa for down trend. I say we need nervousness, indecision in the market. Big up and down swoops...

Is any one else getting Invalid Login message today when trying to login to IB Mobile Trader? Worked just fine last Friday. I checked TWS before I left to work, and I logged in just fine. But I need to use Mobile Trader during the day.

I close out the position that I dont like (the one opened in violation of my rules) and start afresh. It makes me feel better.

I dream often of somebody filling my short ES orders that are way above the market. I always leave limit orders so high, in case some smart ass does something like what happened on 2/5. It is like winning a lottery, you gotta be in it to win it.

Def, I use my cell phone to trade via WAP (GPRS connection). I fruequently lose my session with IB, not the GPRS connection itself. I can see why it may happen if I stay idle for a while, but it even happens if I continuously work my way through the WAP site. I am wondering if this is the way...
