Thanks. I'm reading the Brooks book now (might need a root canal for some relief), and have picked up several things. No doubt this will take a lot of sim time and chart reading as well as another read of that book.

Thanks for your kind words! I see that little triangle now that you mention it, but I wouldn't have thought a pattern that small would amount to anything! In hind sight, another obvious trade I missed was not taking Trade #2 sooner. I should have taken it right after the second red candle...

Stopped out. Looked like it was forming a double top from the 7am high, we had 2 strong down bars that brought it for a close below the 20 ema. Entered at the open of that bar under the 20 ema. Loser. :mad:

I'd be happy to swap trades with you. All of mine have been losers. Someone needs to learn to stop trading against the trend.

I tried to take that pullback 2 bars later after a green candle back up through the 20 ema, but my entry price couldn't survive the retrace 3 bars later.

There's that bounce off the 20 ema. What a great call. What lousy timing.

Stopped out 74.36. Down 44 ticks so far. Jeez.

Tightened my stop to .11 Looks like it's flattening out and could go either way.
