Today I threw caution to the wind, along with a sizable chunk of my brain. I made 8 trades and lost 51 ticks. Previous admonitions regarding putting more thought into choosing targets and stops went largely unheeded, and the results reflect that. Several of my losers were correct trades, but...

Stopped out. Still think a new down trend is in the works. Possible R/S at 76.10

sim short 76.02 .2 target, .1 stop. Thinking that previous uptrend was a pullback on a new down trend.

There were too many big red bars for me to take that 76.04 long entry (translation: no balls), so I'm sitting tight for the moment.

Stopped out. Was looking for a quick scalp when this bar appeared to falter. Thinking this is the 1st leg of a pullback to the 20 ema and looking to go long for trend resumption.

Long 76.26 .1 target, .6 stop

Well, I did a little better on that trade. My stop was tighter, and I thought I could get 20 ticks since the run up was so big, and that bar after the grave stone confirmed a down trend. While the trade was going on, I saw the support at 76.19 after the fact, and that's when I mulled over...

Out BE+1 With regard to my target, I did see on the TOP indicator (poor man's MP), that 75.19 was a support area. Thought about creeping my stop down to BE+5, but decided against it.

Short 76.32 .20 target, .10 stop

Almost shorted the open of this bar on that big gravestone!

Yeah, bad strategy. I saw the chop, but when the opening gap appeared to falter, I was looking for a big drop back down. Now it looks like we're making another run at the 76 level.

Stopped out. Just do the opposite of what I do and you'll be rich in no time.
