Where would she bounce off of? I plan to start playing from the long side between 1.2900-1.2920. I think the prev peaks made in feb04 = 1.2930 and just before that 1.2901 in jan04 could give some support enough for a trading bounce. Anyone here stepping up to bid euro?

yep..it is better to separate macro and short-term trading as I would think the leverage used by the macro guys must be significantly lower -- any idea of their leverage level? I remember Soros disclosed short USD positions in May 2003 and shortly thereafter the euro gave back about 1000 pips...

I notice in IB IdealPRO spread changes frequently (I think IB says it's not a MM) currently spread has widened on the GBP -- it is as low as 3 and as high as 9 pips. It may be due to the thin mkt.
