    my point was that there could be a cheaper way to Quad monitors. There is an micro-ATX board out with SLI, for those who like small foot print. Two Dual DVI cards and you can have four monitors.

    Each LCD monitor has a native resolution. Anything higher or lower will result in very bad output.

    Can you recommend a MFG ? I have done this before. using one AGP and three PCI for 4 monitors. I have not use dual out cards. I am looking into using two PCIe cards in an SLI of Crossfire configuration to get 4 DVI outs.

    Dell has good deals. On some model, it's quiet because the PSU has a fan controller, and won't turn on the fan untill it's warm enough. This could cause heat build up in the hard drive. Just add a cooler to your hard drive for less than 10 bucks and you will be fine for a long time.

    I guess you could use either a Crossfire Motherboard with 2 dual out ATI card, or an SLI motherboard with 2 dual out Nvidia card. ATI X600 dual DVI probably cost $100 each.
