Quick scribble on the 120min ES..

Still carn't get your higher degree 5th Wave count, rtstrading :D :D I do agree though the bears have to be careful as we go into this time pressure window. I don't use any indicators elovemer :eek: Just Price, Time and a hint of Volume for me. If the counts not clear, I just go back to...

Its been going pretty much to plan...:) We had the IV wave over the hoildays and we're in the V now of the possable ED C wave.. :) We get a lot of time pressure coming in tomorrow which so its something to also consider. So we could bounce from here...That would catch a few people...

We were discussing H&S patterns in real time on the Elliott Wave Thread a few weeks ago. We were on the 5min ES ( S&P 500 Emini) and its quite a good example on why I only use H&S patterns that form at tops.

Just the mark one eyeball :D I'm an Elliott Waver so you kinda get used to looking at patterns..:D

This is one of my favorite recent H&S patterns on XOM. It even has the classic neck line return. :)

Market meaning, any individual tradable item your analyzing, such as a stock in this case. :)

Personally I find H&S only form at Highs. If a pattern looks like an H&S but the market is not at its high point then odds on its not a H&S. As for HSTX I would put it in a Triangle pattern unless it broke that last swing low point labeled C. :)

Todays action would fit well as an a wave thats part of wave (iv) in the larger ED C pattern.. ? (see page 166 for the lager view http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=101387&perpage=6&pagenumber=166) I too have enjoyed the Hoilday Break :) Seem Mu's been hard at work...

I'm still on that ED C option of a the larger Y* wave untill it proves me wrong :)) SPX INDU * or C of a larger Triangle pattern

Are patterns Repeating ?? Will be an interesting last hour or so if they do...:D We all know how sharp the Vth wave will have to be.... :eek: :) Wave iv of lesser ED's tend to like the 50% to 61.8% retrace so 1430-1435 on the SPX will be interesting..:)

Yes there's a few options :) I know some EW'ers allow Overlap intothe "shadows" of the bars not the main bodys.. I'm still in the old school camp of no overlaps :eek: :) ) Hence I've had difficulty doing the 1,2,3,4's :D Cheers Mup :D

Mu what's your views on the overlap rule, of wave 4 going into wave 1 price territory. ? :)
