I did the same :) What stress. Yeesh. On a brighter side, the USD/JPY is way up to 103.420 ... looks like it's almost time to short it again!

I've made about +10 on each USD/JPY swing. I think I'm going to call it a day unless I see another swing. I'm staying out of USD/EUR for right now; I'm not getting the warm fuzzy from it today.

I think with Greenspan's comments EUR will go up for quite some time today before coming back down. JPY is down into the 102s already (it was in 104s yesterday!!) so that tugs on all currencies against the USD.

I'm up about +10 on the USD/JPY this morning. I am kicking myself for selling last night, however, I would have been up almost 80. Ah well, I am a scalper at heart .. position trades in the futures market makes me not sleep too well ;o)

yes, i am thinking the same thing for usd/jpy as far as the weekend g20 meeting is concerned.. maybe not as bad as last nonfarm but i bet it will swing on the outcome. i dont plan on being in over the weekend ;o)

Then why the market push for $ strong today in USD/JPY? Why did it not creep down into the 103.5s? Or are you thinking longer than short-term? edit: i guess you see more action towards 103s in the asian session ?

Are you referring to the BoJ not intervening at this time?

Actually after thinking about it.. I bet the EUR drops quite a lot over the next month.. holiday time always makes the USD stronger.. then the inaguration EUR will probably gain some strength back...
