Why gamble on stocks when we have SSO???

Don't forget SSO moves 2X the SP500 index % move in BOTH up and down directions. You may use SSO to your advantage when the market moves up. But when the market moves down, you would lose double in terms of % as well. SSO is a two-edged sword, be careful when you use it!

    FNM, FRE a buy now?

Seriously, everyone should keep their trading size small on these highly speculative / volatile issues. And never bet with any money you can’t afford to lose. Good trading :)

FXP _ "Ultra Short" or "Ultra Long" ETF ??

How could the so called "UltraShort (2x) FTSE/Xinhua China 25 ProShares " with symbol FXP tumbled $5 dollars to $95 this morning while the China stock market closed down to 8 month new low last night and the S&P 500 also went down this morning?? And at the same time, most of the major China...

Anyone see the scalp up in EUR/USD just at 5:19 today?

I cannot be specific on the time because when I saw the 10 pips widened spread, I did not realize it had something to do with the price move and I looked elsewhere. I cannot be sure whether the price already started to move at that very moment. Later on when I saw the big spike, the spreads...

Anyone see the scalp up in EUR/USD just at 5:19 today?

I use IB. Their spreads are normally tight. When I saw the 10 pips spread yesterday, I thought something was wrong with IB's quote system. It turned out the big move was coming.

Anyone see the scalp up in EUR/USD just at 5:19 today?

Looks like triggering stops is also a way to manipulate the Euro price on the short-term basis by the big guys. If that's the case, my earlier notion of "Euro market is hard to be manipulated" need to be changed. Did you also see the EURO.USD price spread suddenly widened to about 10 pips...

Anyone see the scalp up in EUR/USD just at 5:19 today?

Over 65 pips surge in 5 minutes with no news, but by triggered stops !? A forex newbie is wondering how this big Euro market works, which is supposed to be hard to manipulate.

Jim Rogers' new book: A Bull in China

Jim foretold about China's bull market many years ago and he's very active investing in Chinese stocks today. But just like investing in any other market, one needs to time the market carefully for entries and exits.
