Pre-market analysis continued: As an aside, things I did well yesterday: Nailed the 112 21 low at 0740 CST Nailed the 0930 CST time cycle low Back to analysis: Also, keep in mind that for the longest time yesterday, from 1040 until 1250 CST, the market traded in a very narrow range...

I'm pretty busy at the moment so I'll post as I'm able to, unforutunately this will lead to multiple posts. Pre-market analysis First, here are 3 numbers to consider from yesterday. All 3 speak for themselves. 113 01 - a line in the sand for an upside move 112 22 - yesterday's first...

So far I'm batting two for two on pre-open market commentary for the 30 year bonds. I wrote up several solid paragraphs of observations on yesterday, however I've left the text document on a pc at another location, and I'll have to retrieve it this weekend. I've titled this post, "RECAP 26...

    Bond rally nearing an end?

gharghur2, Interesting. I agree with you. I have an Outlier low at 112 09 as a possibility, but that was/is on a condition that we break decisively through 112 15, and so far we haven't. John

    Bond rally nearing an end?

gharghur2, Thanks! So, in terms of today's activity, I'm curious to know if you see a re-test of the low of 112-15, as you called for a 1 point down move? John

Break below 112 15 will lead me to believe my Outlier low of 112 09 is possible.

Did anyone take the recent 10 year trade, the 0947 CST 108 210 spike?

If you didn't get out of some of your position at 112 23, consider getting out now just to be safe. Cycle low of 930 CST hit with a price low of 112 19. You should have sold half at 112 23 per my earlier post, and either sold more lower or held on and got out now since we are back to 112 23...

Man, I'm tempted to stop posting. Wouldn't that be quite the legend: mystery guy shows up. Makes rather remarkable calls, then disappears. Ha, ha.

vanquish, Yes, looking for a cycle low. 5 min time frame for pyra. By the way, for me a cycle low doesn't mean to go long. Just means that whatever move I expected, if it hasn't shown up by that time, then exit trade.

Goodness! Anyone use marketprofile or similar? I'm seeing incredible sell vs buy volume since 0835 CST. Hope this bodes well for a solid down move.

Look for a low within the next 5 - 6 5 minute bars, i.e. 30 minutes. By low, I mean a low from 112 25, not necessarily a new low. 0930 CST is a time target for a low. Remember, by low, I'm NOT saying a new daily low. It might be.

vanquish, I'm not counting the trade, i.e. for my record. I had the stop trade set up ready to fire it manually. So, it is not correct for me to say it didn't get triggered. I didn't trigger it. From what I can see of the trades at 112 31, even if I did have the stop in, I would not have...

If we break 112 25, take 1/2 your size off at 112 23. Put trade in now as someone may bounce it back from 112 22 just for fun. Leave some of your size for a re-test of lows.

If anyone looks at Fib numbers, 108 250 on the 10 year is important and 112 23 on the 30 year. I don't look at Fib nor do I base my numbers off of Fib, but it is interesting to note the level, especially on the 10 year.

I didn't get filled on my stop. As my neural network CCI is pointing down, and as the kiss of 112 31 is close enough to the important 113 01 number, I'm just going to let it stand for now. A failure to penetrate 112 25 soon is indicative of the need to stand aside, i.e. exit trade for small...

Anyone using pyrapoint? Pretty amazing isn't it, the way it nailed the 0745 low, and this 0835 move? No, I don't base my numbers off of it nor do I base my observations previously posted off of it. I merely keep it up to indicate a possible time turning point, not a price turning point.
