Japan has started the fireworks !!!

Interesting development. 1) Japan issues a terror alert. 2) Traders seek $$ and oversold dollar rallies. 3) Yen pukes against $, Euro follows suit. Supersavvy ET readers note terror effect on Japan psychology and infrastructure and order Toshiba's numero uno product line. High tech...

A NY financial analyst found in concrete

A quack masquarading as doctor who botched her breast implantation. Patient died, quack buried her. Non-financial in nature. Victim's privacy? It's a crime, it is now a public matter, and it is already all over the front pages of the newspapers.

    What the tape is telling..

Strange behavior occurs at options expiration. I don't trade the market per se, don't trade index vehicles, I trade stocks, and most have been from the long side in the last 8 months, and I don't see anything to cause me to reverse that strategy now.

    Breaking news on Kerry

You're right AAA, but that's monday morning quarterbacking. All those measures may have prevented the hijackings, but did we have a reasonable expectation of being hijacked? 1991 WTC attack did not galvanize the nation, the threat was presumed to be a fringe group of crackpots. Like...

Evolution vs. Intelligent Design: The Experts Speak

Aphex, by your standard, severe restrictions would have to be placed on the teaching of earth science for example. The belief that the core of the earth is molten iron, is well, just a belief. No one has ever tested it, no one has ever visited the center of the earth. We don't know if there is...

This is quite a range of thinkers and artists. I would be willing to bet that no one on this site besides you and me knows of Burden, Barney, and McCarthey. Do you mean Christo (and Jeanne Claude) , I never heard of Christos. Very few have heard of Derrida and Baudrillard. If this is your...

Quite a bit. You don't understand evolution. EOS.

    evolution: 1 creationism: 0

The evidence supporting evolution accretes, and accretes, and accretes, and just keeps coming. As for this new "instrumentation", can you get any more vague? ART, do you actually understand the principles of evolution, genetics, DNA replication, Messenger RNA and protein synthesis...
