    Wall Street Journal article---bad !!!!!

Your most likely right Stock_trad3r. But if not the Subprime headlines, the inflation fears should be sufficent enough to spook the markets and suck in more bears. With either headline, there's sufficent downside potential to bear trap.

    Top may be in

What's your definition of a Short-term top? How many days or weeks.? Markets did not close below the prior day's low however, so, a down day reversal from a technical standpoint isn't in. Generally speaking, I expect the end of October, or, early November to begin a more significant...

    Be Careful Bearz...

You guys are crazy. LOL No bull or bear here. I'm not even sure what that really means. However, if this market continues to rally, especially into the New Year, this summer created one of the biggest bear traps over the shortest time frame I've ever seen. Blood money like a mofo

    China Economy

They also suffer from severely contaminated water and toxic air pollution. Their markets are a hot air balloon waiting to pop. Currently, you can't short their markets, and there's NO regulations by the Government. This is not a safe play. It's simliar to the 1920's before the 12 year...

    Good job Fed!

The financials still haven't said the credit crunch is over. It's still early in the game. The end of this month should be fun. Volatility should pick up. Buy the USD and sell equities. Then try and see if we can close the year out positive.

    Good job Fed!

If the FED cuts rates again this month the markets will sell off. Whether it's 25bps or 50bps.

    Good job Fed!

But that's debatable friend, because I care more about mine, and my families health, more so than the government. Therefore, I will go see my doctor instead. This thread isn't about health coverage so I don't want to disrupt it. But, it was brought up in response to a comment I made on Inflation.

    Good job Fed!

Another quick point about the "healthcare" scare. Of the so called 47 million uninsured Americans. Nearly 10 million aren't even americans!..Secondly, 9 million of the "so called Uninsured" make over 75K per year. These people can afford health coverage. Over 17 Million "Americans" make over...

    Good job Fed!

Again, not sure what your suggesting. Who buys electronics expecting them to appreicate. When they go bad, you buy a new one, and likely at a cheaper price because of better technology. Also, as I said earlier, I haven't stopped buying food nor is there a shortage at the grocery. I can still...

    Good job Fed!

But prices are not going up across the board. Housing, cars, electronics etc. are falling.

    Good job Fed!

ET and and other internet geek forums such as this are completely uninformed and "out to lunch" with their Idealist philosophy on Global politics and Markets in general. The Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich clones are all over the internet. I "thought" or "felt" it was inflation when oil reached...

    Good job Fed!

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Isn't Inflation essentially, Too much money chasing too few goods. There isn't a shortage of goods. I think the effects of Globalization have spurred economic growth. I hear liberals who "Hate" Bush and will make any argument for inflation or...

    Good job Fed!

Just my take........ There's No Inflation. It just "Feels" like it. If I can pay $3.50 per gallon for gasoline; then it's not high enough. I still eat in the finest restaurants, and although I may not like what I'm paying for food at the grocery, I haven't cut back. There are no shortages...
