Wow! Reading this I realized that ,because I mostly listen to Cd's and classic rock stations ,I havent had a favorite new song in years. I then went over to Billboard mag and looked at the top 50. I literally never heard of any of those 50 songs. Damn, I have to stop living in the 90's. Any good...

Though I will always be partial to NYC, my favorite is Key West. So laid back (very much like the islands) aqua water, great weather, the locals are awesome whats not to like. A close second for me is Boulder.

Ok, here's my deal with Kite runner. Everybody who Ive spoken to that has read it highly recommends it. Amazon has it at 41/2 stars, those 2 factors alone is usually enough for me to get the book. However, the subject matter just doesnt appeal to me, and maybe I am generalizing. I get the idea...

I read silent prey which I thoeught wa real good, and another prey which i thouhgt was just "eh". City of bones was the only connely book I read and thought it an average read, I was told that the earlier Bosch books were better. Ill check out the others:)

I am going to be at the beach for a week, and will be making my Barnes and Noble run soon. I usually walk straight to my usual vacation authors(King, Koontz, Grisham, Hunter etc...), because I guess I rather go with an author I know than get stuck in an aweful book, not that those mentioned...
