Just wanted to mention that the NVS is a good card but, if you want to run a 30 inch monitor, it will not work in the full-on resolution. Found that out the hard way :) Up to 24 inches you are good.

I haven't tried VMware. The reviews I read favored Sun's system. Supposedly it's much smaller and more efficient. I'll take a look. Perhaps some people run multiple instances of the program and put each instance on a different screen?

LOL, I'll take the other side of that bet. Can't say why (I guess I treat em well) but I always get great usage out of computers. My laptop is a bargain basement one and it's still running great after 3 years. I used my last desktop for 5 years. We'll see.

Gotta agree with OT. I use Tradestation and IB side by side. TS will lag occasionally during normal markets and often on big volume spikes. Once, the feed just stopped for 2-3 minutes. Unless you are a scalper, IB's sampling is not going to be noticable. I've had TS go down about 3-4 times...
