Thanks wally, Original post was made to demonstrate validity of use of geometry in predicting intraday trades. Unfortunately spelling bee champ and comedians chimed in . Walter

You are a good speller, but you do not know much about trading. You did show it in this tread. Walter

To DBphoenix: You have to improve you reading comprehension. Reread my original post and then read yours again. I never mentioned "important high " . Walter

Not really, It is just very likely that there will be important high or low. Walter

That time window was confirmed by cycle and geometrical analysis as important time to trade. Walter

    Drummond Geometry

Geometry signals are predictive, you know in advance at what time the trade should happen so MA or MACD cannot really replace it because they come to play after the fact. Only one method as far as I know can replace or compliment geometry is a cycle analysis ( if done properly ) Walter

    Drummond Geometry

That is very true. If one would substitute " analogies " for "similarities " that would be as close to absolute truth as close as one can ever hope to get . Walter

    Drummond Geometry

I agree with Harry on this one, all this esotheric stuff is just escape clause to justify false signals. Funny thing is that geometry is already beyond comprehention of most people and there is no need to wrap it up in mysterious layers. Walter

    Drummond Geometry

Flier6, I have visual memory, I have to see text or image to be able to comprehend quickly. For me geometry is the simplest and most accurate method of seeing what is ahead. Problem is that it is subjective and cannot be backtested so most people will dismiss it as a nonsense...

    Drummond Geometry

It is possible to predict where the next trading opportunity might be by using geometry ( trendlines and their intersections ). I do it daily and little bit differently then Drummond. But it should not cost more then 1,000 to learn practical use of it . Walter

How could pattern be proved, formalised and predicted

I have to admit that I do not understand any of it but I am always interested in " predictive analysis " . Can you make predictions couple of days ahead or use it intraday ? Walter

    Moving Averages-simple or exponential

Neil, I think that you are correct when you are not holding overnight. War might start soon and there will be a big time stop running on both sides. what is the price of your data/software setup and can you trade futures through it ? I am using Nextrend but right now I am sampling Prophet and...

    Moving Averages-simple or exponential

Funny thing is that I use something similar . I try to use cci as a setup and MA's as a confirmation signal . Only 1-2 signals a day on average. Walter

    Having Others Supervise Your System

Wally, No 300% would be ROMargin, investment in account has to be bigger then margin to allow for a drawdown period. For ES it would be at least 5K per contract if maximum drawdown of system in consideration is < 30% . Thanks, Walter
