3 charts, in order. nice double top to get the morning going.

I was out of town the entire day, and just got back.. Looking back on my charts for the SPY, is it me, or was today one of those "home run"/dream days from a AHG perspective? Looking on my charts, it looked like many establsihed (up and down) trends with ample week pullbacks to get on...

I kind of get it but, dont understand what the actual "tick is"... in your example here " is this saying, in an uptrend, the bar closes below trendline, and THE NEXT bar ticks below PREVIOUS bar,... then what? are you you looking for it to tickle a new low, and shoot back up? for...

Sometimes. I have found that to be the case sometimes, but nothing is perfect.. I believe part of AHG is also being more aggressive (not waiting for 2 HH/HL) on W or M formations or key support and resistance levels... In other words, the 2 HH/HL wasnt the ONLY criteria for getting...

While I obviously dont want anyone to get "destroyed," With all the speculation about bailouts, and gov't interventions whirling around the markets, I think holding short overnight was incredibly risky in this type of environment...

Toucan can you comment on why you entered after the run up with no pullback? I am assuming it had to do with the MA in the chart? It just seems like a risky entry to me.. (I am learning, so not criticizing, just curious.)

Arnie, If you could, can you explain the widening/expanding volatility pattern. I was actually thinking about this the other day, but forgot what the signifigance is.. I thought it meant its a warning that the trend was ending, or becoming "unsustainable"....

Hoolee, could you elaborate on which portion of that chart represents the actual dragon "setup" (beginning, end) To me that just looks like a W bottom.. What makes the dragon setup different?
