Looks like you're taking the opposite of my QCOM trade then. If you felt the market was going to sell off on this news, then why not take more financial related ETF? Just wondering, I would think the QQQQ is more related to stocks like QCOM, GOOG, MSFT, INTC, RIMM, and AMZN.

WLP had that chance of +8% and it made a +6.5% move. Well not as high as I thought, but I still made a nice trade on WLP. I bought those 20 WLP Feb. 45 calls at $1.10 and just sold out today at $2.05. My gain on this trade is $1,840. And with that gain, my total gains are now at $10,183.80...

You're right, volatility does dry up, guess no one else failed to mention that. I checked WLP volatility before I made the trade. Implied volatility (IV) on my options were 42, and normal IV is about 30. My resources tell me that if WLP trades to $46.50 tomorrow morning, my options should...

OK I bought 20 WLP calls today. I'm feeling lucky again. Feels good when you're making money as all I have to say.

Closed out NFLX calls at $3.30 and VMW calls at $1.30. My loss on VMW was ($630) and my gain on NFLX was $1,670. My net gains are now at $8,343.80. The only trade I have open is the PCLN calls. Otherwise, I'm out cash now.

I've sold plenty of positions today. I sold IBM calls at $4.4 anf got a gain of $1,770, I sold DNA calls at $1.20 and took a loss of ($1,730). I sold GOOG calls and took a loss of ($599.90). Along with the SYNA gains of $920, I now have a nice gain of $7,303.80. I did buy 10 NFLX Feb. 32.5...

I sold 10 SYNA calls at $2.45 for a gain of $920.00. I am still holding all the other positions. I now have $8929.9 invested. That investment is showing a loss right now with GOOG calls lower and DNA calls still low. Once I close all my positions, I will update my account.

Alright, here's an update since I'm still holding DNA and IBM calls. My account is now at $18,563.70. Not a big move from just above $19,000 last week. I still have 10 IBM calls and 10 DNA calls. Those IBM calls I bought at $2.60 are now at $4.3 for a gain of $1,700, but the DNA calls I bought...

Amazing, those JPM puts traded as high as $4.80, I missed a big winner by 1 day. Interesting. Well, I'm still holding IBM and DNA calls.

Sold those JPM puts this morning at $1.44 for a loss of ($100). Well, I liked my loss as I thought it was down the drain and it was at the open this morning. I might have actually made a profit if I had waited just another 2 minutes from the time I sold. Guess that was a loose canon trade...

lol, loose canon. There's no getting cocky here, I took a nice loss and took some time off late last year before starting again in December. Right now, I'm just thankful my trades have been good like the APOL calls when the market is still doing pretty bad out there.

After looking at all the possible trades, I think I'm done for the year. Nothing left to ponder. Put a nice $2,000 in my pocket over the last 3-4 months. I did lose about $2,000 before making $4,000 this past 3 weeks, so I'm up $2,000. Wish every one a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
