    Reasons to be bullish

Then why do you post? (Man, you set yourself up for that. Are you sure you aren't trolling?)

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

If we make a profit, it PROVES two things: 1) We're geniuses 2) This is a REAL BEAR MARKET because we happened to make a couple of profitable trades on the short side. I learned this from the hindsight permabulls on this thread. Two can play this game!

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

For the fun of it, I just bought a little SDS at 24.73. Unlike the hindsight permabulls, I'll give my exit price, win or lose. Caveat: this is a small trade, not based on any of my current systems. Just a little fun on a Friday.

    Reasons to be bullish

A simple "no" would've done. It's kind of like the 1987 crash. Any newsletter writer who said anything bearish within 6 months of the event took credit for "calling the crash." And used this for their marketing for the next 20 years...regardless of how bad (on non-existent) their real track...

How Sweden fights inequality — without soaking the rich

Yeah, like when the Soviet Union redistributed wealth from the more productive farmers. Food became scarce, and as many people died of starvation in the 1930s USSR as they did in Hitler's Holocaust.

Isn't it a little late to be posting? High school kids need plenty of sleep.

    Reasons to be bullish

Tons of people called some kind of bottom at some point in 2009. Beyond that, where is a trade-by-trade, call-by-call history of your forecasting? I'm curious.

Awwww. Do you need someone to send a whambulence?

How Sweden fights inequality — without soaking the rich

Since Sweden's GDP is less than the city of Chicago, it makes you wonder about the validity of such a comparison. And I'd love to see Sweden try their "progressive" plan with Chicago's demographics...

And on the way down at 85, 82, 80... Again, post every entry/exit or get the freak outta here.

Where did you get fully long and leveraged? SPY at 200? Stick with your sim account. And ALL CAPS aren't necessary.

    Did Ralph Elliot die broke?

I hope this was a joke...including the third-person references to yourself. Otherwise, Hershey may show up and we'll have a battle of the lunatics.

    Did Ralph Elliot die broke?

If he or Gann had been J. Paul Getty types and left fortunes behind them, trust me, we'd all know about them.

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

Exactly. If you're going to post live trades, start a journal and post every entry/exit. And do it for the long-term...not just select times when stocks may be hitting a temporary bottom.

    Did Ralph Elliot die broke?

Yep. The parts about Elliot and Gann should be copied/pasted on any thread dealing with Gann, Elliot, Fibs, harmonics and anything else related to esoteric cycles and other nonsense. While his stuff sounds more reasonable, Tom Demark is the 1990s version of this. None of their ideas hold up...

    Fed Numbers

Here are some other Fed numbers for you: http://www.economicpolicyjournal.com/2014/10/the-top-113-fed-staffers-each-make.html That's much easier than trading, working a real job or starting your own business. Loaf off at the Fed as a staffer and make a quarter of a million per year. What a...

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

LOL. Mutual fund managers and others who are still 60-70% invested in stocks think it's a "great time to buy." I'm just shocked at their wisdom and honesty.

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

Sure, but that's not the issue here....

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

In other words, without knowing your risk:reward, your winning percentage is meaningless. Typical win: Bought at 187.40. After a small move up, set stop = to entry price. Took profit at 187.53. Typical loss: Bought at 186.70. Holding until Friday...or maybe the last day in October...or...

    Tom Demark Sequential Indicator

Yeah, when you don't have a shred of evidence and resort to ad hominem arguments, it is time to end the thread. The parents' basement bit sounds like projection to me. I bet they pay for your cable/internet, though, and sim trading all day with Demark stuff must be cool...
