Well it has to work because i can think of 2 guys on this board who make thick cash doing it. Not to mention Don Bright has tons of his guys making cash doing it. Your strategy must just need tweaking.

End total was alright, but only because of the sheer volume of tradeable stuff for us. Lost 85 on the close of YHOO for some stupid reason..... Should have made 2k today no problem.

Guys start on EWJ at our office some times, and its obviuosly not a moving stock. EWJ does gap with the nikkei, but during the day it can go hours without moving a cent, so its tough to say you 'expect a bigger move'. Its much easier to just manage orders outside the market by 5 or so...

Could have done without a 25 cent loss on 1000 shares in some dirty pos stock. Also, murphys law at the close, spec wouldnt lift off a price i was buying so i closed my long position, and then watched the stock pop 11 cents the second i give up my 6k long.... feels like they are waiting...

I personally dont know, but i remember a few days ago RMBS had that huge intraday drop that was supposedly caused by a rumour in chat room. It was later proved wrong and the stock retraced almost fully. So i dont really know what happens in a case like RMBS or EHGT. In slightly related news...

Its not per share, it is assesed on the value of the trade on the sell side. The rate currently is .0000418 per dollar. $10,000 trade is 41.8 cents $1,000,000 trade is 41.8 dollars It is going down i believe to around $32/mil (not sure but something like this) on Dec 22. 0.0000333...

I would suggest not having a predetermined bias when trading. Your guess of direction premarket is not going to be very accurate, and you would probably have more sucess going off what your indicators and rules are telling you. Good luck!

Decent day. Traded EWJ a bit today and made 400, i like it now that its moved to NYSE instead of AMEX. For how much bitching i did this week it was decent after all.

Pretty sad day today, but i kept it tight to not lose money.

Had 1700 unrealized 5 minutes into the day, but got it out for a 600 total profit and a 600 loss from top. Spent the whole rest of the day to make 400 bucks :/

Maverick74. I have never tape read so that is why i have no idea about these situations. I was merely intrigued by how articulatly you could type the basics, and make it sound so obvious and easy.

Why do you think there is a correlation between switching brokers and making money?
