Blotter doesnt tell the story, huge error this morning, lucky to book only -5k on that. Rest of the day went pretty smoothly, so im happy to have finished green.

Slow and steady today.

Caught some panic in the morning, and had several very large trades that i thought i was going to clean up on, but nothing ended up working out and i finished with some LFT. Also had to hold a short overnight in my personal account so im not too happy about that as i never hold overnight.

Congrats to all my peers who kicked my ass today! You guys are doing incredible! I couldnt have traded any worse today, so im happy i suppose that this is as bad as it could have been.

Great start to the month. Had some crazy P/L swings this morning of which most worked out ok, but i made some very poor decisions that cost me several k.

Sounds crazy unheard of. What is the bonus once you are 'given' 1 mill capital? 55k salary + bonus (discretionary, %age, etc).

Good end to the month. 2 weeks ago i was ready to kill somebody, but it all worked out surprisingly. Just over 100k on the month. I feel like im just coming to work to make up for the losses i take in USD/CAD. BRUTAL USD/OIL/GOLD....

Traded very poorly, but end total is decent.

Traded fine but got raped on stuck orders for 2k at the end of the day. Thanks a lot technology.

I personally know over 20 people that everyday expect to make thousands of dollars. Depends how big time you are talking though. I dont know any 8 figure traders.... yet!

A lot of oppourtunity today for me, but i had some costly errors. Namely a keystroke error that cost me 2k (my fault completely, sadly) and the ES candle at 14:57 beat my ass as i was pretty heavy short at the time (whoops). Overall a very good total for me. EDIT: I also wanted to add that...

Depends on the stock. On something thick that doesnt move you may be correct. In something that is moving rapidly, where you are unlikely to pick the top or bottom, I would think that it would make less of a difference. A lot of people i know dont use NYSE as their first route, however...

Didnt trade particularly well, but I did finish at my high which is always a bonus.

I assume this depends branch by branch. I feel the ideas and semi mechanical system i teach to trainees at first should net them at least 200/day, which gets them in business and making enough to survive. Then these profits are generally 'spent' learning riskier but higher rewarding stocks...

You get 5 months to make 250 bucks in your 5th month, which covers your desk fees. If you dont, or you lose too much before the 5th month, then you are let go.

Held some crap after hours and got demolished. Cant wait for it to open up on what would have been a massive profit tomorrow.

Really needed a day with authentic panic. Went extremely well and then did nothing last half of the day.
