from that site : Please be considerate of other investors -- voicemails, emails and faxes with questions that are covered by the instructions and FAQs cause unnecessary administrative expense and delay the Receiver's ability to respond to other investor inquiries. Everytime you ask a...

    former Tuco traders

Out of curiosity how do you know what the guy looks like? How do you know it was him? Looking for a little background as this was mentioned likely to infuriate traders knowing that their money is buying the guy a porsche.

    Any information on SwiftTrade Calgary?

A while back it was a very tightly run military style operation with a lot of good traders. The atmosphere was professional and polished. I would assume it is still like that.

    Swifttrade Interview

If the manager is charging like that, you can pretty much bet the branch blows and you dont want to work there. Total scam. Depending on your city, there should be other options. Even consider saving up 25k and calling a leveraged pro firm.

    Bright trading and any thoughts

EricP, you need to stop spreading your pompous attitude around ET while blabbering misinformation. Sure, you throw around a lot of shares and pay some cheap commissions, but (smiling) if you could see though the poor balance sheet, non existent training, and 'part of a complete breakfast'...

    Sterling Platform Performance

Your right, thats another strange and bad thing about sterling. My whole office was fine during this time.. I believe mnx was fine too. When sterling has an issue, a lot of the time its 1 server (maybe some of them are on Win 95 PII 333mhz?!) that blows up.

    Sterling Platform Performance

Sterling is my daytrading platform, and although its not the best, its not a complete piece of junk. If you have other options, definitely consider them! Fill times on large orders is bad, fill time or small orders is great. API is usable but poor. Downtime is very up and down, some weeks it...

    Cost of Programmer to automate

Its impossible to say because i automated things that cannot be done by human hands. In this case the increase in return is infinity, as i started with 0. I definitely am not interesting in hiring any more programmers or contracting out my strategies, I was just posting for informational purposes.

    becoming your own broker dealer

I just searched my name to see if anyone had done any recent 'call outs' similar to this and now am forced to respond. I re read the thread so i could remember what the conversation was about, and the story is definitely not as you are trying to paint in this last post. I never said you...

    Cost of Programmer to automate

In Dec 07 I hired a programmer to be a regular employee at my trading office. Best move I ever made. He was a friend of another trader in the office, and really was intrigued by trading, but had no experience in it. He learned our softwares API from websites/calling HO and programs in C#. As...
