AHG - Profitable Strategy for Struggling Traders

Here is a beautiful AHG setup that I did not take properly. But i did go ahead and annotate the way it SHOULD have been traded! First, watch the anchor. An uptrend overall but currently in a short term downtrend. When the key pivot of 1786 was approaching take strong note and start looking...

AHG - Profitable Strategy for Struggling Traders

Here is my lovely loser chart for the day. -13.5. I felt that they were all high probability trades but looking back I think I need to wait for a strong bar after the pull back or more confluence. I thought I had some with the prior pivots (prior days not shown) and ME line support...

AHG - Profitable Strategy for Struggling Traders

Here is my chart from today. I was surprised at how much that UTL was obeyed. Lessons I learned from today: TL touches are great R:R if your lines are solid. Take your +8 instead of letting it fall to b/e. Wait until trading 2 cars to worry about getting a 'boat Have more confidence in...

For some reason the files are downloaded without an extension. If you simple rename them to their proper one (.doc, .zip) you will have a usable file.

Trade after work -- Trade HSI

I'm having difficulty pulling up the HSI using NT and Zen-Fire through Mirus. Can someone spell it out for me? I select the HSI, expiry 03-08 and the HKFE exchange but no data comes down.

I only lost $550 in this mess on my $18.3k position so I am walking away happy in cash. I call that a success.

AHG - Profitable Strategy for Struggling Traders

I intend to join the channel once I get going trading the AHG way AND find a way to burrow into IRC through my works firewall. Which is next to impossible! I'll be trading from my laptop over EVDO anyway so that will likely be my pathway to fending off the activists.

AHG - Profitable Strategy for Struggling Traders

I am trying to download the thread in Word format from the above link but it seems that the second one may be corrupted. I have tried to download it several times and each time I can't get it to open. I'll try again from home but was hoping someone may be able to send it to me so I can print it...

    Futures firms with Ninjatrader bundled

Great information, I am really leaning towards Mirus as of right now. Thanks a lot.

    Futures firms with Ninjatrader bundled

That is good information. Do you know what provider they use? Could it be plugged into NinjaTrader? I believe they have a lower fee schedule than Mirus but I am not sure so that would be ideal. Thanks much.

Didn't that last leg have way too much volume for an IHS? I'm new to charting so feel free to slap me down and call me an idiot!

When did you receive Bernanke's news?

I believe those reports are fairly strict at the release at those times while Ben just speaking isn't really regulated by any industry or other regulatory body. What he says is not factual but an opinion.

When did you receive Bernanke's news?

If that's the worst they receive for relying on CNBC they got off light.

Could you elaborate on the bolded portions? I think I am reading it incorrectly. Do you mean that since the charting/data fees are FREE that it is a big plus or are you referring to a feature? Sounds like a stupid question but I got twisted around there. Can you do strategy backtesting with...
