that's exactly it, stay away when it's likley the broker will itself have a hard time filling a trade of more than 5m and you're good. Only the dodgiest of brokers will try and scam even more off their customers

agreed, but forex brokers shoudln't lure customers in saying there's immediate execution etc when all that actually means is that the trades "appear" to be filled immediately. Behind the scenes, the broker will wait a bit, try and offset the trade with another internal order and if it cannot...

which is exactly what noone seems to understand. Everyone has a differnet expereince with the same brokers and of course defends his broker as such. If you stop and think for a second why, if noone is lying, differnet traders have differnet experiences with the same broker. I used to have two...

you've also posted these guys on anoher thread.... stay away from these two brokers if you trade when the market is volatile. At first they will let you trade .. but once they realise you're picking they will use all the tricks in the book to scare you away

ibfx don't like scalping, neither do fxdd. I have no experience with oanda but it's unliekly they'll lke scalping either

If all you're looking for is to get the news before anyone ... then bb is prob not worth the money, but if you work in a bank and see what kinda stuff bloomberg provides you can see why all the banks have bloomberg. Money well spent imo. Gettin the news first is one thing ... being able to act...

I HAD a few accounts with them which have had all funds withdrawn. I don't bother testing on demo accounts as the feeds are from different servers and do not reflect their live servers wrt to my strategy. ibfx are fine for normal longer term trades where you might not mind losing a pip here or...

it's the dogs bollox, nothing out there compares. For what it provides, it's reasonably priced but the average retail trader is probably going to use less than 5% of what bloomberg offers

i dunno how anyone would be getting less than 5ms unless they're located right next to the server. Ping is of utmost importance to my type of trading and I'm usually ahead of the pack with a ping of 50-70ms
