nope there isn't a bubble in the art world

Well a Giacometti is a Giacometti. But atleast for contemporary art the bubble bursted already a few years a go already. People were paying hundereds of thousands for Damien Hirst dot paintings up to 2008. Nowadays they often even fail at auction...

    LMAX inside spread liquidity

Its fairly obvious why a regulated broker will not be able to accept customer funds from a numbered account. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numbered_bank_account

    LMAX inside spread liquidity

Use the vwap page. Insert the amount you want to trade. Look at spread. There is really no more info anyone could give you.

    LMAX inside spread liquidity

It sounds to me it would be much easier to get someone with a Reuters terminal to give you the data (all Lmax trades are published on Reuters). This way you could determine if this even makes sense on this platform before embarking on a months long development project. Maybe even lmax gives you...

I still dont get what you mean with "wholesale liquidity". You seem to be the only one using this term.

    LMAX inside spread liquidity

You should see Hotspot or Currenex charts, they are even worse. Their biggest customers (other MT4 brokers) dont need charts, so they spend their development ressources on other things. Apart from Multicharts you can also use SierraChart. For SC you need to maintain a fix connection with the...

    Reuters Eikon $150

This has limited data coverage compared to the professional Eikon versions. All the OTC stuff is missing for example. And obviously no messaging and trading functionality.

What can I do with MATLAB? Or should I rather learn Python?

There is now a Matlab home version license for ~€100, and toolboxes for €29 each. Seems like they are feeling the pressure from the open source solutions. https://www.mathworks.de/store/link/products/home/ML?s_iid=main_buy_home_cta1

    OandaWrap: Php API interface

You are saying that Oanda transaction cost is 2 to 3 pips in Eur/Usd (3x to 4x more expensive than IB). Not true. But whatever.

    OandaWrap: Php API interface

Its not 3x as expensive. You pay the commission for entry and exit, and its USD based. So if you want to compare spreads for IB its 0.2 x 2 x 1.3280 = 0.53 pips in commission for EUR/USD + the spread. IB is cheaper, but not by 3 to 5 times. Its more like IB is 0.7 to 0.8 pips (more depending...

    Forum Index Unread Posts

I like the new visuals, but still, the index page has now less information than previously.. Maybe there is a way to somehow mark unread threads/posts on there? I am sort of used to scroll through the index page and click on threads from there..
