I have a question. If 90 percent of short term traders are losing, than is 10 percent of the winning traders making a lot of money? Is the 10 percent gaining the 90 percent of losses? just wondering, my logic is probably wrong. jc

I think you are absolutely right. I was just wondering if there was a correlation between being a great scalper(or swing trader) on the nasdaq and being a great scalper(or swing trader) on listed. I am not sure if i really got a concrete answer or if there really is a concrete answer.

thanks a lot for all the replies. Deducing from the responses, it is very tough to switch from nasdaq to listed and vice versa. Does success in nasdaq lead to sucess in listed? probably all depends on the trader :p

Last year my friends got a 10k singing bonus. This year they DID have a salary freeze. SUx, especially with the hours they put in. its not worth it for THEM and they know that.

I dont know about other firms but i know heartland offers a salary of about 600 a week for a couple of months with a raise to 800 performance depending. there is No capital required and i am not sure if they are hiring. good luck.

Is 1-2 grand a day only considered a very good trader at worldco? What kind of numbers would be characterized as a great trader and what percent compared to the rest of the firm would they fall in? I would be happy with 1 to 2 grand a day. thanx jc
