I am currently using Ameritrade NYSE OpenBook, I found that their book often friezes, or severely delays at some most important times! This has been happening a lot during the last few months. And they don't even know why!!

Assume one had a short position in one account and a long position in another account (same stock), can he trade those positions against each other? Or he have to deliver the certificate from one account to another to cover the short position?

I have a dell insprion 9300 as well (1.8g cpu). but i never really trade on it. my trading setup are two dual processor machines.
also, do you have the overheat problem with your dell 24" monitor at 1920x1200? mine has that problem and have to put a little fan on the back :(
