    SpreadProfessor's Rookie Status with Equities

I'm guilty of what Bone is talking about. I hear guys like you and Mav talk options, making circles around people. You guys are genius in all that. When I hear you guys talk on equities/options I think dang I want some of that. But I stop myself every time. I know I'd get schooled day after day...

Memory keeps running low all of a sudden

If it was me.. It sucks messing around with that kinda stuff. I'd setup OS on one partition, personal data on another or external. Reformat saves lots of time messing around. I like a nice clean directory.

    SpreadProfessor's Rookie Status with Equities

That right there can not be overstressed. Can you give an estimate on how many guys you've seen shredded over that? And same they all said it wouldn't happen to them..

    Does this solve monetary science?

FireWalker, Wow just realized that came out all wrong. But I think you can imagine what I was getting at. I searched around a little online and only thing I found on "Promise Language" is what has to be your blog. I saw no reference on how to get setup. But I did see lots of other stuff that...

    Does this solve monetary science?

You were talking about bananas in a hut. So, I was referring to for example the cost to store the bananas and deliver them plus the cost to the risk that they would spoil by the time of delivery. You had said that "promise language" was currency agnostic. And you had said that "promise language"...

    Does this solve monetary science?

The way it sounds to me, you would have to add this "promise" to crypto. Does a blockchain allow that? I own some bitcoin. But never sold any or traded.

    Does this solve monetary science?

Ok, now you lost me with the bananas and oranges. I know what you mean. But that's again slowing down the process via delivery and thus bound to cost something. If I have to have deliver 400,000 bananas to a guy in Asia to him, It's all of a sudden cost a whole lot more. What's wrong with...

    Does this solve monetary science?

    K. I kinda have a better idea of what you might be talking about. The first thing that comes to mind is that it can possibly speed up contractual processes and cut out transactional costs. If someone wanted to use this, how would they get started?

    Does this solve monetary science?

Hi FireWalker, Interesting topic. Nice name btw, did you do one of those firewalks that Tony Robbins talked about? What exactly is "Promise Language"? Are you referring to cryptocurrency? Or is this a totally different thing? The biggest problem that comes to mind is that you'd...

    Comments on Van Vliet Books

comments at a glance over: It doesn't seem as though he is selling any "edge". He is selling an educational book, a foundation. He seems to be unbiased, introducing basic data structures, a basic guide, and outlines a few pitfalls of developing a system. As twoshepards said, he is simply...

Sample Futures Spread Portfolio Capital Requirements (CHEAP)

No one ever said you were defrauding. It was stated that it sucks being defrauded. People are naturally skeptical. And this is your chance to answer questions about your services. And that is good that you have over 100 ET customers. Now a serious question, if someone wanted to talk to them...

Sample Futures Spread Portfolio Capital Requirements (CHEAP)

Ok cool. Thanks for shedding that light. It sounds reasonable. I thought the way he's been throwing directional traders under the bus, and then pitching the spread as a slick easy approach, it kinda threw up some red flags for me. No biggie.

Sample Futures Spread Portfolio Capital Requirements (CHEAP)

Thanks for stepping forward. It sure takes some big balls of gold. I was hesitant because he is a sponsor. And for that I am thankful. It is the best entertainment a guy that trades from home can get. :) But drownpruf has hit this nail square over the head. Bone uses "client this and client...

What are the reasons for trader's NOT taking the Series 56

I think this goes very close to #1. But I think some people might think they would not be accepted by a firm, for whatever reason.. not enough money to trade (isn't that why guys go prop.. for more leverage.. ok some say it's to learn ), maybe they feel they lack...

    'parasite' banks

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/financialcrisis/10684896/George-Soros-blasts-parasite-banks.html “The banking sector is acting as a parasite on the real economy,” Mr Soros said in his new book “The Tragedy of the European Union”. “The profitability of the finance industry has...

    FINRA Day Trading Margin Req.

Hmm. Something doesn't sound right. Maybe the 90 day freeze fell off but the flag didn't? Otherwise, why are they calling it a such? If a broker started jacking around w my trades, I'd move it out.

    FINRA Day Trading Margin Req.

If it was up to me, I'd say sure bring your money even though you don't have 25k to trade. Deposit it as soon as you can. And Fidelity could care less. They'd rather you pay more commissions. It's the SEC that has the problem with it. I guess they probably intended the rule, when they created...

    Making money off a computer

LOL. Yea, I remember reading that too. I think it was over in the "funniest thing ever seen in prop firm" Hall of Fame section. OP, send the person who wrote it a message. I tried to search but maybe it's too old. I think search is limited somewhat. To me it sounded like they were...
