Athiests...want evidence of God? Read here.

volente, anyone who has to quote a dictionary about science doesn't know shit. Your explaination of what a theory represents is quite stupid- give it up. Nonsense. The religion called "science" can explain everything and if it can't then you can place "faith" in the unproven theories that...

What is the hardest college major?

I conjecture that it is literature/Engligh. As evidenced on this forum and elsewhere people don't write well in general. Math & Physics is plug and chug. Thats why Indians and Chinese excel at it. Need a thesis? Just rip a paper online, make some minor changes, resubmit, and presto you're a...

We're not tapped out, Slowbama will simply call China and ask for a cash advance check with a credit limit increase, and maybe some reward points. Let the good times roll again.

    market likes Obama's stimulus idea's

Heck. Building roads, schools, fuel efficient cars and buildings, and a technology infrastructure is at least as productive (much more so) than building bombs and dropping them on a country to destroy their infrastructure ... and then giving them hundreds of billions of dollars to rebuild it. My...

    What Really Changed ?...2007-2008 ?

The US does have a lot of wealth creating ability I agree, however we are currently unwilling to take the medicine after decades of excesses with the politicians all too willing to prop up and continue the credit party.

    What Really Changed ?...2007-2008 ?

Value, whether physical or paper, is psychological. All of economics is psychology and so physcal assets 'value' are just as prone to the whims of people.

    50% retracements

It's interesting that the 50% level has nothing to do with Fibonacci numbers, but they use it anyway- it just 'looks' magical.

    50% retracements

It's not just the 50% retracement that you should be "aware" of . . . but also the standard fibonacci retracements of 38.2% and 61.8% which come into play the majority of the time. Based in nature, these retracements can be found to occur with mind-blowing consistency in the markets. I...

    50% retracements

It's just human mind games, we are meaning/pattern seeking creatures. People will assign anything in the 40-60% area as a 50% retracement, combine that with assigning things in the 62-72% and 32-42% area as a fib retracements you have covered most retracements by assigning them some sort of meaning.

The only thing that will save the US economy is time?

The debt estimates do not account for what just happened this week in terms of how much we are really at risk for (we are near 100% GDP if you include some of the implied risk involved), and with deficits certain to increase faster than growth, I would bet money that we surpass the WWII peak...

Good points, but we haven't even gotten to Hussein's stimulus package yet, that's another $600B in the spring. Desperate politicians not wanting to be the ones in power when we crash, yet we have come down about 3000 in the Dow since the bailouts began. Bush's stimulus did absolutely nothing-...
