Of course, attacking a neighboring country in an expansionist war, to occupy and destroy it, is not dangerous at all.

Room temperature (and way above) atmospheric pressure superconductor discovered?

There is no one universally accepted physical theory of how high-temperature (about 35K and above) superconductivity works. So a true room-temp 1 atm superconductor may be discovered quite accidentally even if no one quite understands how it works. And IMO the best chance would be that it would...

Room temperature (and way above) atmospheric pressure superconductor discovered?

I am crossing fingers... A superconductor like that would change so much in our lives it is hard to count all the different implications. From dirt-cheap MRI machines, to way cheaper energy because of no transmission losses, to much more efficient mag-lev trains, to (hopefully) being able to...

Room temperature (and way above) atmospheric pressure superconductor discovered?

https://arxiv.org/abs/2307.12008 - the arxiv submission on this material. If confirmed, it would cause an enormous disruption/revolution. It is cheap, and made basically of copper+lead. ======================================== Researchers from South Korea report creating the first room...

    Banned by a Broker?

There are many kinds, each broker decides for itself what it tolerates and what it doesn't. Here's an example https://www.stern.nyu.edu/sites/default/files/assets/documents/con_035928.pdf

    Banned by a Broker?

Unless you're trading CFDs, you're not playing "against the house" - so why would it matter to the broker how much you "win"? On the other hand, there is such a thing as "toxic trading". For that they may discontinue your account, but they definitely cannot hold your funds.

Putin, a few days ago: "The Crimea bridge for a long time already has not been used for military transport". Sergei Aksenov, head of Crimea administration, today: "We ask all the civilian cars to take the land route instead of the bridge so that the priority is given to the Ministry of Defense...

BTW - Wagner released their casualty figures. 78 thousand Wagnerites were used in the fighting. 22 thousand KIA. 40 thousand wounded. That's a 77% casualty rate. No wonder they ran away. Source: https://t.me/razgruzka_vagnera/240

Russians won. 6%. Anyway, if you think Ukrainians, under Russian assault, are balking in any way from US aid thinking about what % of it they will eventually have to repay, you're insane.

Putin decided to name Sept. 3rd as "day of victory over militaristic Japan". The Japanese got a bit miffed. So they canceled a bunch of contracts for high-end equipment that still remained after the sanctions. For example, the contract for supplying the ultra-modern medical equipment for the...

    Russia & Ukraine

So then you admit that "repaid in full" was a blatant lie, right? Because $722M as a repayment for $11.3B in war materiel is not "repayment in full". No matter how you twist it. It will be the same with Ukraine. Some war materiel will be returned. Some will be destroyed and some retained and...

The article you cited lied, blatantly, about how lend-lease was repaid. As I said, the Soviet Union part of land lease was repaid at around 6%. Similarly with the British part. Admit you were wrong and go away.
