Not sure what you mean by out of frame. Do I understand you correctly that the last time BTC hit all time high was the end of wave 3. Somehow I got the impression that was wave 5 and we were in for an ABC corrective wave. Could you show a chart from Nov 2022 showing the wave count.

Why wasn't the first time price came cose to 72K considered B Then the drop to 65ish would be C and the current up move the start of a new wave. Has it something to do with price not trading lower than A?

But if price moves above B doesn't that negate every thing and possibly become a new wave 1

We should move this discussion to another thread, we're hijacking mutes thread. My point is with EW is you can't put the waves in until price has moved. You don't know if a wave is complete until another wave forms. You can make assumptions but are they any better than a guess?

LOL I rest my case!! Price has to move before you draw the waves. Likely and could are not definite calls. You could say that the price will likely go up or it could go down or it might stay in a range. Then when something happens you can take credit for a correct call. I'm glad I didn't take...

The problem I have with EW is that price has to move before you can draw the wave. Same as any indicator.

Not enough info. Need a higher time frame to see what the price has been doing. What made you think the price would continue in the direction you wanted?

To start with change the seach to the psychology of attaining financial gains. Or the psychology of dealing with losses while attaining financial gains. I would say that avoiding losses in almost impossible, you have to have a way to deal with them. Your credibility as a coach is questionable...

I was under the impression you converted your US profits back to CAD.

Why trade back to CAD once you are in USD? Does yout EW see the CAD gaining value, it's been in a down trend. Have you seen who is running the country?

My first question is with your experience why do you feel that paying someone is going to help you? If you are having problems, you should be able to sort out what the problem is and come up with a solution. It usually comes down to things you can control but don't because of personal biases.

What was your max drawdown during your paper trading? Could it be that your live trading just coincided with a drawdown period? How many trades per day? Down 8% means at least 16 losing trades, in how many days?

What does a back test show?
