Why are the big name U.S. Investing champions so obsessed with selling their investment strategies?

Firstly the object of entering an investment championship is to prove you are capable of trading. You want to prove you can trade so you can sell trading courses or manage OPM. Secondly if you are known as a successful trader, how often would you receive requests to teach someone how to trade...

    2024 Stock Picks

Thanks I'm a TA swing trader, rarely look at fundamentals, find they bias my thinking so that I ignore whats happening on the chart. I do look at your picks with an eye for set-ups I trade. Appreciate your contributions.

    2024 Stock Picks

@vanzandt Nice to have stock pickers, rather than the futures day traders, making posts. I'm curious as to how many of these picks you actually hold in your portfolio? Do you actively trade in and out or are you more of a long term holder. I'm sure you have mentioned this in prior posts but...

    Retail.... 10% actually win?

There is quite a difference between the retail investor and the retail trader. For the most part I would think the retail investor is buy and hold. He/She may or may not out perform the index but for the most part they are probably building wealth. The retail trader is probably losing.

Could you go back a few months and show wave one? I'm curious as to where it starts. A line chart might be easier to show the waves.

Sorry about that I missed the C on the chart at first glance. I have punished myself!! So your saying that with EW and fibs as your guide, you predict that the price could go up or it could go down. :) I've been looking at EW to see if it's a tool that I might use. Finding it very confusing at...

That's where we are now. Drawn in hindsight. Are you expecting C to be lower than 65 or have we already hit C

Math won't help you understand Bitcoin

Doesn't the wild fluctuations concern you? It doesn't seem to have the ability to hold a certain value. I'd put faith in a painting thats grown in value over the years over something that could be worth 1/2 of what I paid for it a year from now. The question I'm asking myself now is not how high...

That's true. But I didn't. I didn't buy and NVDA either. :( I have been legging into BITO. Might get stopped out with a nice profit soon.

I do see a downside risk. And I'd guess that you do also or you'd be fully invested right now rather than waiting for a opportunity to average down. As for putting BTC up for collateral, where can you borrow fiat with BTC as collateral?

Math won't help you understand Bitcoin

Doesn't it fluctuate too much to be considered a store of value. If you know that you need 100k a year from now where do you put your 100k today? I'd put it in cash or equivilent. I certainly would not put it into BTC. I would class BTC as a risk asset, not a store of value.

    What a stupid study

You could be averaging down with BITI while you wait.
