Anybody else supporting Ron Paul for President '08?

Bloomberg for President. The only right independent non-PAC oriented choice.

Boycott CNBC next Monday and support FBN?

So far Bolling and Claman are there. No one else from CNBC yet. Glad to see Bolling back on air. When Fast Money lost him, I stopped watching.

    Safe plays for October

Oh, I've been doing this since the end of August. I just stayed with my positions, didn't exit them. Like GG, I've been in it since 25.00. Was thinking take some off the table, and keep some in play.

    Safe plays for October

I am thinking October will be a turbulent one. Probably as crazy as August. I did not loose any money in August, but it kept me on the sidelines for most of September. Can anyone recommend their thoughts on some safe plays? I was thinking shorting the dollar ETF, and going long on Gold...

New York buyers pay $200,000 for car space...WTF people.

That is where the jobs are. Plus, people like to play the keep up with the Jones' game. Not sure I agree. Then again, The south gets to hot. NY/NJ only gets really hot two months out of the year usually. For 3200.00 I get 1600 sq feet. Its enough for me, and I live modestly well I think...

New York buyers pay $200,000 for car space...WTF people.

Since I do not need to go into the city that often, it really is not that important to me to be in the city. I guess, if I lived in the city, and worked in the city, then I would see it differently. The pricing for condos from here in Northern Jersey to NYC are not that far off. Aside from...

    CNBC shows its colors

When Fox goes live, Claman will be there. I think you'll see some other CNBC personalities will come over. Plus, some of the women from Fox News will be there too. It would hilarious if one of the big CNBC personalities jumps ship. Was still amazing that Claman was forced out.

New York buyers pay $200,000 for car space...WTF people.

True, but that is the suburbs. The only houses in Manhattan and Brooklyn are the brownstones, and they are millions.

New York buyers pay $200,000 for car space...WTF people.

I live across in Jersey looking at the NYC skyline. I live in the same building as Liz Claman. Anyway, I pay $100.00 a month to park. I still do not understand the fascination of living in a crowded city were going a block can take an hour sometimes. Sometimes people are just strange.

Greenspan says US interest rates going to double digits

Markets will prob. be down on Monday because of all of the butterflies in the hedge fund stomaches. It would normally be a good buying opportunity. But with Tuesday looming, I am still on the sidelines since early last week.

Bank accounts with over $100,000. What happens?

That is what I am trying to find out. Can't have ten different banks to hold my money. But I am concerned. That is why I am thinking in purchasing insurance or something. Just do not know if this is available.

Bank accounts with over $100,000. What happens?

I have my bank accounts with Citigroup, and I pretty sure Citigroup will not go under, however, I am concerned a bit. What happens to the monies within the bank that is over $100,000? FDIC will not cover. Do banks have additional coverage? Can the account owner purchase their own insurance...
