That's what I meant....if you don't have them, I wouldn't consider them "professional". If you don't have that, you should just trade from home....no advantage. My comments were directed at "professional" firms ONLY.

What office doesn't have all that? I'm assuming that you are talking about professional offices. Why would you assume that you are the only one with that?

IB may or may not be quote provider but if this is true, then they are the only broker that I know that doesn't provide those quotes. All the professional firms I've ever had an account with do provide it.

50% drawdowns? I wish I only had a 50% drawdown. I had a broker assisted account with them and lost 90%!! I wish I never got sucked into this pos.

You should just call the order desk. Its a new symbol so it might not be available on the system yet.

E Trade is Not only the prop group. It includes all of the former Tradescape and Momentum business which includes retail.

I experience the improved fills on ecns when I trade the bigger issues. The ecns are not as prevalent in the thin stocks. I trade a wide range of stocks and don't really concentrate on any ones specifically but for examples sake, JNJ, WMT, AIG, C, GE, etc.

I was speaking from personal experience. I used NX. I have a key that sweeps the market on ECNs and goes to the specialist. I usually get fills from multiple sources so that I can compare where I get better fills. Do you use specialists exclusively?
