    Iterative Refinement

I would like to dub today "the day of the many similar channels". :) Due to circumstances beyond my control, I was not able to annotate during market hours monday and tuesday. Hence I did not post any charts for those days.

I look at your charts every time you post them and one thing that strikes me is that on several occasions you keep (continue) channels that have had price BO from them. What is your thinking for doing so? Don't take this the wrong way, I'm just really curious.

Todays chart. Feels like I've spent the whole day in a gaussian wabbit hole. Btw, is the bearbelly chatroom still active? Have a great weekend :) .

Thank you cnms2, ehorn and ivob for posting on yesterdays chart. No sir, I can't do that. It would not be a valid channel RTL, right? What took me by surprise was before that though, when price moved lower on increasing volume, as would be expected if a new dominant traverse was about to...

    Iterative Refinement

Todays chart. Nice day, but the 15:05 [close] bar was a big surprise to me. I was expecting an FBO (fanned out pt3 down) when it suddenly took off. :) EDIT: Spyder, thanks for checking our charts yesterday .

First discussed here, then here and here... and I am sure it was discussed in several other posts as well.

    Iterative Refinement

ES chart for today. I found most of the 'M' difficult and frustrating today. So now I hope this day was exceptional in some way that I don't understand yet :) .

    Iterative Refinement

ES for today. I started the first forest down 'premarket' since volume was good. Spyder, thanks for posting your charts. Time to debrief :) .

    Iterative Refinement

ES for today :) . Edit: Unbelievable... I was so focused on the trees that I missed the first forest down :p .

I can't remove my previous post but please ignore it. It looks like ET have restored several broken threads during the day and missing attachments have now mysteriously reappeared.

    Iterative Refinement

Yes, thanks :) . How did you find that? I still can't find it in the original posting. A day or two later spooz expanded on the chart with theoretical gaussians, that image is gone as well (it used to be here). Btw, the images are still available in the PDF volumes posted by Pr0crast.

    Iterative Refinement

I always try to draw faster (steeper) channels, with other words channels on different resolution levels. In that way you 'see' when pace and/or sentiment changes within that context. You could have drawn the new steeper red down channel yesterday, but the pt3 would not have been confirmed until...

    Iterative Refinement

Chart for today. The discussions here of late have been very interesting but also a little intimidating. There's no chance I could keep the level of concentration necessary to make do that kind of 'M' and 'A' (and 'D') at my current level of understanding  . I'm just starting to notice...
