    Looking for good system

That's a good system, but to run more than 2 monitors you will want a system with 2 video cards.

    3+ Monitor set up

Shouldn't be too difficult, use caution mounting processor, make sure your motherboard connections are correct, make sure you install a cd rom drive, and boot up with a copy of windows xp in the drive. I pulled this equipment pricing from Tigerdirect. Sid

New Computer (Is this a good deal?)

I just built my own, here are a couple of suggestions: 1. Get a dual core processor. I use AMD 64X2 3800+ (not too pricey but I can run Cybertrader Pro with 30 windows open, run virus scan, and play Farcry 64 bit simultaneously with no slow down) 2. Make sure you are getting 4 DVI outputs...

    AMD 64 X2 3800 for multitask trading

Cybertrader runs in 32bit mode. So far, only I'm only using Internet Explorer 64bit and the game Far Cry. Both run fine. Main problem is java 1.4 web pages as there is no 64bit version of jre 1.4.

Anyone running Windows XP 64bit ?

64X2 allows for multi tasking with cpu intensive applications such as virus scanning or defragmenting without slowing performance on applications such as cybertrader pro.

Anyone running Windows XP 64bit ?

Could you tell me first hand what are some of the improvements you notice ? Do simple things like the web browser run faster ? Overall performance is similar to XP Pro 32 but multitasking is better for CPU utilization, but I'm sure a large part of that is due to running AMD 64 X2.

Anyone running Windows XP 64bit ?

Quote from bigsid: I'm running Windows 64 and overall it is excellent. One problem: I can't find a java component to run so java based programs will not run on the system, yet. Cybertrader runs great. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------...
