FIX messages are not transmitted via HTTP. All FIX communication is done via direct sockets. I've never heard of a FIX engine that does otherwise.

You can lease the TradeStation8 software without opening an account. Then you can use TradeBullet to route the TS orders to IB.

I think you meant www.TradeBullet.com rather than tradebolt which is a defunct--and unrelated--company. There is no way TradeBullet can know what your strategy is because it runs locally on your computer and you connect directly to the broker. Francis

You don't need to code anything if your strategy runs in TradeStation. See the TB user manual for setup instructions.

Fugawi said he wanted to trade his Tradestation EasyLanguage strategies at TT. TradeBullet can be used because it connects to TT FIX. As to the Autospreader, I've never used it so I don't have enough information to answer. Francis

TradeBullet now supports TT. You can send orders to TT from TradeStation. I don't think you can link autospreader with TradeStation.

TT has market data through FIX (but not FAST). Francis

FIX data speed is not really a concern unless you need to monitor a lot of instruments. It's just more verbose so there's additional bandwidth and CPU overhead. They have a new compressed format although I don't think any broker offers it yet. Francis
