    Indices could pull back tomorrow

If you look up his past posts he loves talking about ah manipulation :). We're in a 20 pt consolidation range and seeing some wild moves up and down right now. Whichever direction we take I'd think it will end up being explosive and its run distance will at least equal the range we're in...

    Indices could pull back tomorrow

Yes, on IB but I listen to squawk also. Nice early call and good trading!

    Remain calm...

Yes remain calm. If you missed out this morning, we'll probably have a decent bounce to short into again until the options expiry with the 1480s target area on ES. :)

    Indices could pull back tomorrow

Institutions have been dumping it 6 pts at a time. Looks like we might've made an intermediate top as of yesterday? :)

    Indices could pull back tomorrow

If Europe's any indication we'll chop with a slight downside bias. Yesterday there were many institutions who were buyers at least on the floor (as supposed to local sellers providing liquidity/getting ass kicked), they probably want to take the S&P to the next level in the mid 20s so we'll...

    Potential China bubble

I don' know. . .a "potential" China bubble? I think the quoted word can safely be removed to be more precise. :p

    Indices could pull back tomorrow

Sure, I'd like to see the 1500 area tested again but I expect a little pull back in the early morning to test 1512 area on ES, where yesterday's average volume is located. Any bounce from that level, I'll be closing my short and might even reverse and go long (yikes!).

SEC Sues Hong Kong Couple Who Made 8.2 Million From Dow Jones Stock (on Buyout Bid)

A fiduciary duty doesn't apply in a sense that you're implying when the counter-party is in violation of regulatory rules (ML is doing it right by alerting authorities and distancing itself from the hotcake). It is also different from the laywer-client confidentiality that you might be thinking...

Pimco's Gross Says Fed Has To Cut Rates To Support Households

It seems to me the background noise regarding LBO credit crunch is getting louder. Wouldn't be surprised if that is used as an excuse to pull the market lower much like the subprime.

    Fed will bring red

Call me crazy but I like what I see when we failed to break out above 1517 on ES in a convincing fashion and I'm short swinging pretty heavily here, with a mid 1490s target, though should we break above 1517.50 tomorrow morning I'll start hedging it with YM and won't start unwinding it for...

Your strategy for Fed day tomorrow?

If you look back, CSCO's earnings consistently coincided with short term or medium term market tops. Considering how much we've gone up, I'll bypass long signals and look for some short set ups, while reducing my size to 60 percent in light of the Fed rate announcement. I'm looking at the...

SEC Sues Hong Kong Couple Who Made 8.2 Million From Dow Jones Stock (on Buyout Bid)

Sure, we all work within different moral frameworks and strata and I suppose that's what makes life with other human beings so interesting/conflicting. As for the blackjack question, I might take advantage of it (can't categorically say I won't do it since I've never encountered such an...

SEC Sues Hong Kong Couple Who Made 8.2 Million From Dow Jones Stock (on Buyout Bid)

So, if cheating were allowed, you'd cheat on every exam? If drinking and driving were allowed, you'd drive with a beer in your hand? If stealing were allowed you'd ransack Bill Gate's home? Beyond its illegality I believe it's immoral (should've said 'immoral' instead of 'amoral', a poor...

SEC Sues Hong Kong Couple Who Made 8.2 Million From Dow Jones Stock (on Buyout Bid)

Thanks for the article. Here though I think the key word is the "tippee" (the sublink to the case involved http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/scripts/getcase.pl?navby=search&court=US&case=/us/000/96-842.html). For instance, using your example, a waiter who overhears an M&A activity at the table is...

SEC Sues Hong Kong Couple Who Made 8.2 Million From Dow Jones Stock (on Buyout Bid)

Exactly. Even though convicting her of insider trading would have been a major moral victory for the government in times of Enron and its ilk, they couldn't squeeze enough lemonade out of that charge to send her to prison, even with all the tangible evidence and a star witness who was directly...

Please keep in mind that I'm not putting down on anyone who's arguing against me and all I want to do is share the knowledge I have and learn something new from you guys as well (for instance ByLoSellHi, enough with previews and sneak peaks and please cut to the chase show us the money - that'd...

    - Semantics, unfortunately, is very important in the field Law. It's what convicts and frees the accused. I don't see why the above distinction in the M.S. case isn't important to you. The gov. went after her like a hound dog, couldn't really convict her on the insider trading, but her lying...
