99atlantic specifically asked for closed end ETFs, which exclude index funds like QQQ, which is open end.

I trade index futures during the day and swing trade stocks and mostly hold ETFs (closed & index) for long term. I'd say most of them are quite illiquid compared to some of the large caps and therefore are not that great intraday trading candidates.

Does anybody know if there are any hedgefunds trading in any of the U.S. exchanges? I know there are 3 or 4 trading on TSX in Canada and some of the ETFs in the States use leverage and what not but I haven't been able to find any full fledged hedge funds trading in the U.S. market.

What I was insinuating: that in spite of the feed being smart enough to filter out news items using the quote symbols on the TWS automatically, it doesn't seem to be able to filter out news items that are only spuriously correlated, viz, in this case, the YM contract and the YM magazine :p .
