    When will the bears admit

Crikey, they're handing out money at the MAR shorts window. Maybe not too late to get in line, although earlier (like me) would have been much, much better. Send your thank you notes and chocolates to BX, from which this mother's milk has flowed.

Reserve Bank of New Zealand announces changes to FX management

Not too shabby. Kiwi has traded down since my call 2 nights ago (my first ever in the currency), by as much as 80 CME ticks (give or take a few, but still not quite the 100 I promised Ivanovich). Still well down. It’s weak tonight apparently because of Gov. Bollard’s jawboning, which is...

Crash 40% Down, In Two Weeks

Ouch. Sure hope my endodontist is not in this group who've had hard-earned money destroyed by this pig. What a waste: first-day buyers have been sheared by a third. So, I've got one root canal scheduled already -- don't need him finding more just to repair the hole bx has sliced in his purse...

MAR and bx: helium milkshake, ummm good and gettin better. P.S. Thought I'd try to steer the thread back to something related to stocks.

Reserve Bank of New Zealand announces changes to FX management

Ivanovich, How many ticks do you want, the whole 200? If so, you may have to wait a couple of days. Half that you probably can get about seven hours from now. That's the best I can do on short notice. Wonder how you say Pawn Shop in Japanese?

Crash 40% Down, In Two Weeks

The rapidity of the bx sheep shearing is surprising even to me, and I expected it completely, beforehand and during its opening act, as in this post from last month:

Reserve Bank of New Zealand announces changes to FX management

For the homegamers: Kiwi short call overnight (above) promptly produced small equity of 20 ticks or so, in too-thin-to-win volumes. Anyway, kiwi has climbed back to flat terrain. Still need YEN strengthening to fill out the daily double. USA equities tanking, correctly called, is the first...

    When will the bears admit

I'll let Mr. Gross do my talking today, inasmuch as he and I are on, and have been on, the same wavelength (my thanks to Bloomberg): KKR, Blackstone Find `Tide Is Going Out,' Pimco's Gross Says July 24 (Bloomberg) -- The cheap financing that fueled the leveraged buyout boom is over...

Reserve Bank of New Zealand announces changes to FX management

Now is "just in time." Although the drop in the USD looks like a runaway train, it isn't, particularly not when the YEN strengthens and US equities fall, which is my forecast.

    Stocks love a weak dollar...

This also puts the lie to those girlie laments of Democrats who cry that W and his party aren’t for the little guy. History will bless W’s fiscal policy. Just wait a decade or so for that verdict, when Americans start earning big tips waiting tables from Toronto to Tapei. And exactly...

    Stocks love a weak dollar...

You're missing the silver lining. Within a generation, at the latest, young Americans will be able to see the world and get paid for it. Store and laundry clerks in Shanghai. Condo painters in Dubai. Nannies in Rio and Mumbai. The opportunities will be limitless.

What, no response? Plenty of helium to go 'round. Maybe it's the milk that's run out.

Google- Waterfall selloff in the afterhours session!!!

Has Cramer been touting it of late? Just asking. I don't watch the show, so I don't know.

More milk, please. Some bx helium, too, before it's all gone.

Reserve Bank of New Zealand announces changes to FX management

The score you oughta be following is CHOOD vs Japanese housewives. If all those Nippon fx retailers catering to the housewives are not typical bucketshops, they will be buying wholesale the long USD/long other-yielding currency (kiwi, aussie) positions they retail to their customers. If so...

    Penson Trader - Forex

By the way, looks like TradeFreedom, a Canadian firm recently bought by a bank, offers Saxo's forex products and platform under the TradeFreedom name. That is not disclosed on TradeFreedom's webpages touting the products and platform. But the promotional language and screenshots on those pages...

    When will the bears admit

Come to mention it, I've been at the bx teat again since last Friday, when bx's hotel sector helium gave me MAR short, now approaching ten percent better (lower) than that. Milk and helium, umm good! Earlier MAR shorts (not mine, others I mean) doing even better.

S&P 500 very close to intermediate term top

This comment I don't understand. Not even a little. This thread, at least since early June, has been one the very few meaningful places to read and post out of scores of threads in this forum. (Of course, I may be too thick to get the wit.)
