    you're right about those craigslist ads. what i've been trying to do is check out the big firms that have been around for some time - assent, echo, etc. i went to meet with a couple of those firms and i wasn't even asked for a resume. don't know if this is necessarily a good thing....

    well. i have plans of moving out of my current state - not NC. i'm trying to consider all my options including renting it out. i figure i can have a low payment that can be covered by the rent i collect, and 3-5 yrs later home values will have rebounded a little bit.

    the home value according to cfc is 617,000 but that's inflated. realistically i could sell this for around 600. my loan amt is 400. income over 200k, and pay 400/mo in low int. credit card payments and school loans.

    i have a fico score of 785 according to countrywide when i spoke about a refi to a 5 yr ARM IO. they gave me the my current int rate (5.75%) and closing costs of 4500. i do'nt think this is a good deal, is it? this was just three days ago.
